One of the first questions we are asked is - how much does a hearing loop cost? There is no one cost and so many variables to consider. Hearing loop installations are individual as finger prints.

Commercial loop installations vary from building to building, depending on concrete or wood construction, floor coverings, electrical interference, area size, etc. No two loop designs are the same. There are a few different types of typical loop installations: a perimeter loop; a figure 8 design and phased arrays. Phased arrays are the most complex and are generally necessary in large area spaces.

For us to provide a loop installation proposal, we first will make a site visit.  A site visit includes performing some test loop measurements, EMI testing and a pre-design assessment.  Once the proposal has been accepted an installation date is set and our professional installers will typically complete the installation of smaller projects in a day or two and larger projects will take longer. A professional installation is a must to ensure a quality system with even sound across the room and to meet IEC61108-4 standards.
